The winners include Wakhyu Budi Utami (Mocaf’s House) with a prize of IDR 500 million, Galih Dandung Akbar G (Pictafish) IDR 300 million, Andhika Mahardika (Agradaya) IDR 200 million IDR, Muhammad Thoyib (Indigo Buru Baru) will receive IDR 200 million and the winner favorite of Aminudi (Biomagg Indonesia) who received IDR 5 million.
Start-Up Challenge winners are selected based on their commitment to participate across programs and ability to create tangible and actionable business plans. So that the businesses they own can create a more significant impact than they have on society, which includes education about the environment and employment. Mocafine by Rumah Mocaf Indonesia won an award at the 2020 Indonesia Made Proud Award Night which was held by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy / Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, together with the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) on December 6, 2020. This award is expected to become the first step to improve the welfare of cassava farmers and mocaf craftsmen throughout Indonesia. Indonesia Food Innovation is a food business acceleration program for Small and Medium Enterprises (IKM) that has product and / or process innovation and is made from the main raw material of local resources so that it is ready to become a marketable, profitable and sustainable food industry. By participating in this event, selected participants will receive coaching and mentoring from professional experts through the food camp program to improve capabilities both from technical and business aspects. In addition, Riza Azyumarridha Azra as the owner and founder of PT Rumah Mocaf Indonesia has been named the Ambassador of Millennial Farmers at the Ministry of Agriculture in 2020 by the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture. Banjarnegara which is the birthplace of Riza is the second largest producer of cassava in Central Java. By building Rumah Mocaf, Riza succeeded in resurrecting cassava farmers who had fallen because of falling cassava prices, and could create a new economic cycle for housewives as mocaf craftsmen. This success has led Riza to become the Ambassador of Millennial Farmers because she can unite farmers, craftsmen, and young people to jointly generate local food.
